BREAKING MYSELF IN!!!
One more week down! I know I say this every week but I don't understand
how it's already P day again haha. This week was super good! Its
starting to get pretty cold here in Coahuila! Pretty sure it gets as
cold as Utah but the only difference is that it doesn't snow haha. Our
houses don't have heat so I'm gonna be sleeping in my coat lol.
This week we worked our tails off! We got 20 new contacts and a lot
of them have a lot of potential. We have four baptisms lined up for the
next couple of weeks!!
This
week we did a
lot of the same stuff each day, we leave the house around 11 or so
(only during training), we
go to our appts, lunch is at 2, and whenever we aren't teaching at an
appt we are contacting and looking for new people. We walk sooooo
much. My feet kill ha. We met some awesome people this week who are
super prepared!! We were walking down the street and we met someone who
speaks English!! I can't explain to you guys how nice it felt to speak
English, cause my Spanish still stinks, and my comp knows zero English.
This guy lived in the states for 12 years and that's where his family
lives. I taught him a little about the restoration and he said we can
come over to his house whenever we want! It looks like I'm gonna get to
be teaching in English a little bit!
My
companion and I had the opportunity to give a blessing this week, we
found this family and started teaching them, and we noticed that the dad
had a problem walking, and he was really struggling with his health, my
companion asked if we could give him a blessing of healing, he started
crying during it, which made me want to cry haha. After, we gave his
wife a blessing as well. This was all really new for them. It was the
first time they had heard anything about our church and they had the
opportunity to receive blessings. Pretty cool. Then we taught them and
it went really well! Hopefully we baptize them pretty soon!!
Something
else kind of interesting, I am teaching a two hour English
class this week lololol. Its gonna pretty interesting cause these
people don't know any English. I'm gonna have to teach them English
while communicating in Spanish, and my Spanish is not the best.
YIKES!!! It will be good. I'm
kind of excited about the opportunity.
Thank you for all
the support and love you guys show me!! I would love to hear from all of
you! Have a good week! Read your scriptures and say your prayers,
this church is true!!

Sorry
no pics for the last few weeks. I am trying to figure out how to hook
my chord up to this computer to download them. I will get it figured
out for next week for sure!
