¡¡Feliz nuevo año!!
Merry Christmas and happy new year everyone!!! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and new years. It was so nice to be able talk to the fam! I may or may not have cried little lol.
I don't have a ton of time this week so I'm gonna keep this email pretty short! We have changes tomorrow but nothing is changing for me! I'm gonna be with Elder Diaz again so I'm excited for that!
On Christmas day we woke up and did a little shopping cause it was p day,
and i opened a couple packages from the fam! We got to talk to our
families, and it was soooo good to talk to them for a little bit. I was
pretty home sick after though. Super super home sick. I was having a
hard time, but then i started about thinking about how short these two
years are. It feels like a long time, but we only get to dedicate all
our time serving the lord for two years one time. I have two years out
of all of eternity to give all I have to the lord. I cant give the lord
all I have if my mind is in a different place! When I started having
this mind set instead of feeling bad for myself I immediately started
feeling better again! On Christmas night we went to bed at around 7
haha. One of my fav Christmas presents.
This week we worked super hard and we found 17 new investigators! We
found a really cool family. One of them in the family really stood out
to me. He was about 25 and he had so many questions. When I started
talking about the plan of salvation, he said wait, you know where we are
going after this life?? And we said of course!! He had been wondering
this his whole life and he finally got an answer! I am excited to keep
teaching them, pray that we can baptize them! Seeing peoples faces light
up when they find out we can live forever is an amazing thing.
I love you guys and I hope you all have an amazing year!
I'd love to hear from you! conner.atkin@myldsmail.net
