¡¡Feliz nuevo año!!

Merry Christmas and happy new year everyone!!!  I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and new years.  It was so nice to be able talk to the fam!   I may or may not have cried little lol.
I don't have a ton of time this week so I'm gonna keep this email pretty short!  We have changes tomorrow but nothing is changing for me!  I'm gonna be with Elder Diaz again so I'm excited for that!

On Christmas eve we went caroling, then came back to a members house and all the elders had a little Christmas themed lesson planned.  Then we ate this super good dinner.  Their brother in law is a chef so he cooks for us all the time.

On Christmas day we woke up and did a little shopping cause it was p day, and i opened a couple packages from the fam!  We got to talk to our families, and it was soooo good to talk to them for a little bit.  I was pretty home sick after though.  Super super home sick.  I was having a hard time, but then i started about thinking about how short these two years are.  It feels like a long time, but we only get to dedicate all our time serving the lord for two years one time.  I have two years out of all of eternity to give all I have to the lord.  I cant give the lord all I have if my mind is in a different place!  When I started having this mind set instead of feeling bad for myself I immediately started feeling better again!  On Christmas night we went to bed at around  7 haha.  One of my fav Christmas presents.

This week we worked super hard and we found 17 new investigators!  We found a really cool family.  One of them in the family really stood out to me.  He was about 25 and he had so many questions.  When I started talking about the plan of salvation, he said wait, you know where we are going after this life?? And we said of course!!  He had been wondering this his whole life and he finally got an answer!  I am excited to keep teaching them, pray that we can baptize them!  Seeing peoples faces light up when they find out we can live forever is an amazing thing.

I love you guys and I hope you all have an amazing year!

The best week of my mission!!!!!!! Hello everyone!  I was super super nervous for this week, but it turned out being one of my favorite weeks in the mission so far!!  So my old companion Elder Lorenzo was made zone leader here in Neuva Rosita, it was sad to see him go but ill still talk to I'm all the time because he is my zone leader!!  My new comp is elder Diaz and he is from Argentina!!  He has four months in the mission, so we are both super new, but we are killing it!  This has forced me to learn my area really fast, and I realized I know my area a lot better than I thought.    This week I have realized, that my English is starting to go downhill haha!  Sometimes I forget how to say something. Or I don't know how to use the correct grammar!  Kinda crazy haha.  Now I don't know English or Spanish! sometimes ill be talking to another American missionary and I will start talking in Spanish without realizing it!...
Super Awesome Week! June 25th, 2018 Tons of stuff has happened the past couple weeks so ill just tell you guys all the good stuff!!  I got a new companion!  His name is Elder Shaner and its my first time having an american companion haah!  Hes from Idaho and hes an awesome missionary!  He goes home in august so looks like ill be sending him home haha.     We have been working super hard and we have found so many new investigators!   One of them is the wife and daughter of an inactive member we found!  They dad served a mission but he has been inactive for ten years.  We are baptizing his wife and daughter next week!  They are also really excited to go through the temple together.  A member had a feeling to talk to them after we had gotten done doing an interchange, and the rest is history!            We also found a family this week!  A HUGE family.  In the morning w...
UNA SEMANA MAS TERMINADA (Another week down) Hola everyone!! Everything is going well here in Sabinas!  We are working super hard and having success each day!  We got two more baptism dates!  Their names are Jose and Rufina!  I have a strong testimony that the lord truely does prepare people for us to teach. Things are also going really well with Gerardo, he is the one I'm teaching in English.  He can speak English because he used to be a drug dealer, (narco) and he drove back and forth from Mexico and the united states transporting drugs.  He truly has repented and he has such a strong testimony.  When I first started teaching him he reminded me of Joseph Smith.  He said, all these churches claim they have the truth but they all teach different things.  I explained that Joseph Smith had the exact same question, and I taught him about the restoration and Book of Mormon in English!  He is the only person I have met he...
