Hello Everyone.  Can't believe I made it to another P day.  I love P days haha.  its so nice to have a break once a week.  We are going to the temple today and I am sooo excited.  Not sure if im gonna be able to remember everything that happened this week but I will try my best.  I have been sick with a pretty bad cold for the last four weeks so that has been rough.  There has been a lot of little things adding up this week which has been making things hard, sometimes I start to feel sad and feel bad for myself, then I just remember that I am not here for myself, and I forget about myself and start working harder.

There was another earthquake on Tuesday, It was kinda scary.  We were in our casa getting ready to go to the gym when all the sudden everything starts shaking and we hear the alarm.  We ran outside to the earth quake circles, and you could hear everything rattling.  Its a pretty weird feeling when the earth is moving beneath you.  You don't need to worry about us though, it was a lot worse further south, make sure to keep those people in your prayers.

Last week we placed the Book of Mormon to that worker, we went back to talk to him and he said he loved it!  His friend that the Hermanas taught, went and showed his brothers afterward so that was awesome.

On Sunday I got to bless the sacrament at our branch, it was in Spanish so I was kinda scared, but it went great.  I sounded like a latino, not gonna lie, the gift of tongues is real.  There was a talk on being grateful and it hit me pretty hard.  I realized that there is sooo much I have to be grateful for. The latinos that come here have close to nothing sometimes,  co
ming here to the mtc is like paradise for them.  Before coming here they had never had a hot shower, a lot of them never had a bed, and they were wondering when their next meal was gonna be.  It made me realize how good I have it and I have everything to be grateful for.  I have come to love the latino people so much, they are so humble and kind, and they are the funniest people ever.  We get to go on splits with them a couple times a week to teach lessons, it has been awesome.

We played futsal a couple times this week, felt soo good to play again.  The latinos are sooo good at soccer, I still schooled em though;) Got a couple megs in.  I met a couple way cool elders when we were playing.  We play vollyball a lot too and that has been way fun.  Everyone goes so hard, it gets pretty intense.

Last week we played a prank on the hermanas (sisters) and it went a little too far hha.  We told them we were in a lot of trouble for something, but we didnt know what.  We got the zone leaders and our district leader in on it.  We were all freaking out like our district had done something terrible.  When we told them it was a joke they were not happy with us haha.  I think they like us again though.  I hope.

I have gotten so close with my district this past week.  Last week we had an elder that was really struggling, we talked to him for about an hour and everyone was crying.  After, we all gave him a blessing and the spirit was so strong.  I know these guys will all be my best friends for life.

Thats all ive got this week, im sure i forgot a bunch of stuff but oh well i guess ha.  its hard to remember.  I love you all, I love hearing from you guys.  Shout out to you if you made it this far.  Until next week,

Elder Atkin

Carry the spirit with you at all times! Hola hola everyone!  Super good week this week.  Gonna keep this email a little shorter cause I dont have a ton of time!  I'll just tell you guys all the important stuff! We have two baptisms  this Saturday !! I'm gonna be baptizing them!  Their names are Lisandro and Salvador.  Lisandro is 9, and Salvador is 13.  Lisandro reminds me of Scotty haha.  Lisandro is not quite as energetic but they have a similar personality.  They have a big family so hopefully we can get the rest of them baptized soon as well!  Oh and pray for me cause they have like 4 names and their full names take like 10 seconds to say, and I'm performing the baptisms haha.   Rufina and Jose are doing awesome!  We have a date set with them for the first Saturday of December!  Jose can barely walk, and he cant move the left side of his body very well, we gave him a blessing about two weeks ago, an...
