Finding more people to teach!!!!

Hola everyone!!  Not a ton happened this week but we worked super hard and found some awesome people!!  My Spanish has gotten a ton better lately.  I'm starting to be able to understand people a lot better, and when i'm walking down the street im starting to be able to understand the music that people play in the streets so that's kinda cool!!  We have two baptisms this week, rufina and jose are finally getting baptized!!  They are super super prepared.  Jose is gonna be the next prophet, I think he knows more than I do lol.

This week we had a lot of cool experiences by being led by the spirit.  This week we contacted a lot in the richer parts of town, usually we don't have any success with the big houses, but this week we had a ton of success in the richer parts.  Usually they are aren't as humble, and they don't wanna listen, but not this week.  Id say at least half of our new investigators this week lived in huge houses.

On Tuesday we were lead by a dog to a new investigator.  I know it sounds crazy bit listen lol.  We were knocking on the door of this one house, but nobody was home, so we started to leave.  Their dog saw us leaving and started freaking out!  It was whining and barking and following us down the street.  It was licking my pants and jumping on me haha.  Not normal at all, the dogs in Mexico are usually kinda mean.  I told my comp maybe this meant we needed to follow the dog, so we followed it, and it led us back to the exact same house.  So we tried knocking on the door again, and guess what happened, nothing!! The family wasn't home.  A minute later a girl walked up behind us to get her dog!!  We started talking to her and we got her address, we are going back to teach her soon!  Sometimes the spirit works in different ways haha.

Something else cool that happened this week, we were on our way to an appt, already kinda late, but I had a feeling we needed to stop at this house.  My comp said no, and that we needed to go to this appt, but i insisted haha.  So he was like fine then you talk to them.  So I walked up, and I didnt even have to say anything, and they were like, elders! como esta!!!  I was kinda confused at first cause that never happens.  It turns out they were being taught by the missionaries a while back but they never ended up getting baptized, because the missionaries in the area got transferred.  They have a huge family and they have a ton of potential!  But... they aren't in our area so I was super sad.  Looks like we are gonna have a lot of references for Sabinas 2!  We are going back to teach them today and find out for sure if they are in our area or not.

These last couple weeks I have had some amazing experiences with the holy ghost, my testimony and faith in the spirit has grown so much.  The father, the son, and the holy ghost, are one, one in purpose.  So when we have the spirit, our heavenly father is literally with us, its an amazing gift and we must always cherish it.  I hope you guys have a great week!  Until next week!

Carry the spirit with you at all times! Hola hola everyone!  Super good week this week.  Gonna keep this email a little shorter cause I dont have a ton of time!  I'll just tell you guys all the important stuff! We have two baptisms  this Saturday !! I'm gonna be baptizing them!  Their names are Lisandro and Salvador.  Lisandro is 9, and Salvador is 13.  Lisandro reminds me of Scotty haha.  Lisandro is not quite as energetic but they have a similar personality.  They have a big family so hopefully we can get the rest of them baptized soon as well!  Oh and pray for me cause they have like 4 names and their full names take like 10 seconds to say, and I'm performing the baptisms haha.   Rufina and Jose are doing awesome!  We have a date set with them for the first Saturday of December!  Jose can barely walk, and he cant move the left side of his body very well, we gave him a blessing about two weeks ago, an...
The best week of my mission!!!!!!! Hello everyone!  I was super super nervous for this week, but it turned out being one of my favorite weeks in the mission so far!!  So my old companion Elder Lorenzo was made zone leader here in Neuva Rosita, it was sad to see him go but ill still talk to I'm all the time because he is my zone leader!!  My new comp is elder Diaz and he is from Argentina!!  He has four months in the mission, so we are both super new, but we are killing it!  This has forced me to learn my area really fast, and I realized I know my area a lot better than I thought.    This week I have realized, that my English is starting to go downhill haha!  Sometimes I forget how to say something. Or I don't know how to use the correct grammar!  Kinda crazy haha.  Now I don't know English or Spanish! sometimes ill be talking to another American missionary and I will start talking in Spanish without realizing it!...
UNA SEMANA MAS TERMINADA (Another week down) Hola everyone!! Everything is going well here in Sabinas!  We are working super hard and having success each day!  We got two more baptism dates!  Their names are Jose and Rufina!  I have a strong testimony that the lord truely does prepare people for us to teach. Things are also going really well with Gerardo, he is the one I'm teaching in English.  He can speak English because he used to be a drug dealer, (narco) and he drove back and forth from Mexico and the united states transporting drugs.  He truly has repented and he has such a strong testimony.  When I first started teaching him he reminded me of Joseph Smith.  He said, all these churches claim they have the truth but they all teach different things.  I explained that Joseph Smith had the exact same question, and I taught him about the restoration and Book of Mormon in English!  He is the only person I have met he...
