Miracles

This week was a good one!  So many good things have happened this week and I'm not gonna be able to talk about all of it!  We have a baptism this sat and we are getting super excited for that!  We are now allowed to play soccer so that made me supperrr happy when i heard that.  Now i can start meggin kids in the street again;)  Then we ask if we can teach their families and they take us to their house its the best haha.

This week we have zone conf and me and my comp get to give a presentation on setting baptism dates yaay! haha its gonna be a good learning experience.

There were three really awesome miracles that happened this week and I want to share one of them with you guys.

Yesterday Elder Leija and I started a fast, for our investigators, and so that we could find new people to teach. We worked hard all day and by the end of the day we were beat. Seriously had never been that tired in my mission. We decided to look for one more before our noche de hogar. We got to his house, and he wasn't home, but his son polo was. We got talking with him and he told us about his addictions to alcohol and tobacco. He was actually drunk when we got there. As we started to teach him, he started to change, and by the end of the lesson he wasn't drunk anymore. All we did was teach him about Christ and how he can help us with our problems. We watched the hope of the light of Christ video with him, then we wrote him a little prescription of how he can get over his addictions. Three prayers a day, one chapter in the scriptures each day, and coming to church the following week. He said he had been praying to God for help, and to be able to get fix his problems. He said we got there the next day and we were the answer to his prayer. We have a cita with him this week and we are excited to start seeing his progress. He also committed to come to church this week!  Got answers our prayers in many different ways!  I hope you all have an amazing week!!

The best week of my mission!!!!!!! Hello everyone!  I was super super nervous for this week, but it turned out being one of my favorite weeks in the mission so far!!  So my old companion Elder Lorenzo was made zone leader here in Neuva Rosita, it was sad to see him go but ill still talk to I'm all the time because he is my zone leader!!  My new comp is elder Diaz and he is from Argentina!!  He has four months in the mission, so we are both super new, but we are killing it!  This has forced me to learn my area really fast, and I realized I know my area a lot better than I thought.    This week I have realized, that my English is starting to go downhill haha!  Sometimes I forget how to say something. Or I don't know how to use the correct grammar!  Kinda crazy haha.  Now I don't know English or Spanish! sometimes ill be talking to another American missionary and I will start talking in Spanish without realizing it!...
Super Awesome Week! June 25th, 2018 Tons of stuff has happened the past couple weeks so ill just tell you guys all the good stuff!!  I got a new companion!  His name is Elder Shaner and its my first time having an american companion haah!  Hes from Idaho and hes an awesome missionary!  He goes home in august so looks like ill be sending him home haha.     We have been working super hard and we have found so many new investigators!   One of them is the wife and daughter of an inactive member we found!  They dad served a mission but he has been inactive for ten years.  We are baptizing his wife and daughter next week!  They are also really excited to go through the temple together.  A member had a feeling to talk to them after we had gotten done doing an interchange, and the rest is history!            We also found a family this week!  A HUGE family.  In the morning w...
UNA SEMANA MAS TERMINADA (Another week down) Hola everyone!! Everything is going well here in Sabinas!  We are working super hard and having success each day!  We got two more baptism dates!  Their names are Jose and Rufina!  I have a strong testimony that the lord truely does prepare people for us to teach. Things are also going really well with Gerardo, he is the one I'm teaching in English.  He can speak English because he used to be a drug dealer, (narco) and he drove back and forth from Mexico and the united states transporting drugs.  He truly has repented and he has such a strong testimony.  When I first started teaching him he reminded me of Joseph Smith.  He said, all these churches claim they have the truth but they all teach different things.  I explained that Joseph Smith had the exact same question, and I taught him about the restoration and Book of Mormon in English!  He is the only person I have met he...
